We had an amazing stay at this lodge with stunning views of the dam. The staff were friendly and professional, and the facilities were great. The food was excellent with a wide choice of drinks available at reasonable prices. The rooms were beautiful and cozy, and the private fire on the terrace during dinner added a lovely touch. We enjoyed meeting interesting and friendly people and had a fantastic Christmas.

The location was beautiful, with stunning views of the lake. The staff were friendly and hospitable, always willing to help. Despite some room maintenance issues, the bed was comfortable and the linen was nice. The food was delicious and the chef was talented.

The overall experience was disappointing. The lack of air conditioning or even a functioning fan in the room made for an uncomfortable stay, especially with the bugs and insects that were able to get inside due to the poorly sealed rooms. The limited meal options and the bad internet connection added to the frustration. the hotel felt outdated and in need of some renovations.
